SHOP USED MATERIALS & TOOLS

We sell highly reusable building materials.

  • We are located at 101 Railroad Ave, Suite C, Cashmere WA 98815. We are right on the corner of Division and Railroad, in the Side Street complex near downtown Cashmere.

Our hours are currently 11-5pm, Wednesday-Saturday.

    Closed Sunday-Tuesday.

  • Our inventory is always changing—and always full of possibility. As a nonprofit reuse center in Cashmere, WA, we specialize in salvaged building materials, used tools, hardwood and vintage furniture, cabinets, home appliances and construction materials donated by builders, businesses, and generous community members.

Our inventory changes every day, so feel free to call ahead to see if we have what you're looking for- or dive into the treasure hunt!

  • Our parking lot is very small. Please park respectfully so as to leave space open for others to pack. The space closest to Division Ave. is reserved for drop-off and pickup loading. Please do not double park people or park illegally. There is free parking available across the tracks towards downtown by the church, as well as the gravel lot on the other side of the building, near Yonder Cider.

Our staff is happy to help you load materials into and out of your car. We will not, however help you tie down your load. It is your responsibility to secure your load. We do not have straps for sale, so please come prepared.

  • Sometime inspiration strikes and you need to buy something before you have the logistics figured out. We are happy to hang on to items for free for up to two weeks from purchase. If items remain after this time, they may become store inventory and re-sold. Sometimes longer storage is possible for a fee, but seldom acceptable past one month.

  • Pricing used materials appropriately is one of the harder part of running a reuse program. Given that we are a nonprofit, it is part of our mission to make material as affordable as we are able to make them. We balance this with running a sustainable operation that can continue to divert waste for years to come.

Our staff will not haggle on site, especially if the item has a price tag. Please respect our staff's pricing. If you feel a mistake has been made, feel free to bring it to a manager's attention.

Most items in the store are priced between 50-90% OFF of the typical retail price. Some items, new in box or extremely high demand, might sell for a price closer to retail.

Many of our goods are not individually marked- like Lumber or Hardware. Please refer to the whiteboards around the store for our pricing per linear foot, square foot, or pound.

Still, some items may be priced at the counter when you bring them up. Please respect the price we put on these items.

  • Most items are sold as-is and all sales are final. Please inspect condition and verify measurements before purchasing; if we’ve listed measurements, please double-check them. Appliances are all subject to a 30 day warranty, as we do not have the capacity to test them on site. If we sell something that is simply assumed to work that simply does not, let us know and we will work to make it right.

  • Our Reuse Warehouse is inside of a historic 120 year old fruit packing warehouse. While we do everything we can to make things accessible, the floor is uneven, there are stairs, and the building is not temperature controlled. Please bring a jacket in winter months, as it gets very cold when the temps drop. Children and Pets are welcome, but please keep them close by and leashed. Children running in the warehouse is a serious hazard to themselves and others.

  • Some items may be eligible for delivery for a fee. Keep in mind, delivery outside of the Wenatchee Valley is usually cost prohibitive (hundreds of dollars). Inside of the valley, we can sometimes deliver for fees ranging $40-$80, let us know the address and we can give you a cost. We only charge our cost for delivery, no extra.

  • Our store takes all standard forms of payment.

  • We can place an unpaid hold on an item until the end of the day the hold is placed. Often, items are first come first serve who is able to pay at the store. We may be able to take payment over the phone if you want to fully secure an item. We avoid selling items sight-unseen unless the quality is excellent or new.

  • We rarely compensate for material. As a nonprofit organization, donations are the lifeblood of what keeps us running and we only consider compensation, or consignment, for truly exception items worth very large amounts of money. If you feel you have items that fit this description, feel free to inquire.

All donations are tax-deductible and donors will be provided with a receipt.

Facebook Marketplace Store

Many of our larger and big-ticket items end up on Facebook Marketplace. Since only individuals can sell goods, most listings run through our Manager (Luke’s) personal profile. You can follow this link here to access that page and see some our current stock. Some people also choose to follow the profile for updates. We keep the marketplace up to date and add things weekly.
